Located in California’s Colorado River hydrologic region, the Palo Verde Valley is 72,934 acres in size. This Very Low priority basin is home to an estimated 7,459 people (2010 value). It has approximately 134 wells, of which approximately 15 are water supply wells. Groundwater accounts for approximately 0.81 percent of the basin’s water supply.
