Located in California’s North Coast hydrologic region, the Alexander Valley – Alexander Area subbasin is 24,500 acres in size. This Very Low priority basin is home to an estimated 1,793 people (2010 value). It has approximately 817 wells, of which approximately 46 are water supply wells. Groundwater accounts for approximately 80 percent of the basin’s water supply.
