SGMA requires GSAs to develop and implement GSPs
to avoid the six undesirable results listed below:

Significant and unreasonable reduction of groundwater storage

Subsidence

Significant and unreasonable land subsidence that substantially interferes with surface land uses.

Significant and unreasonable seawater intrusion
